AISP invests in equipment and resources to strengthen its credential printing department

In April 2026, AISP stepped up its investment in identification credential printing and management. To do so, it acquired new high-performance printing equipment and strengthened the resources dedicated to production, preparation and dispatch.

This investment keeps pace with the growth of the document management projects that AISP runs. In addition, it increases responsiveness in a service that links the digital approval of contractors directly to the issue and dispatch of their identification credentials.

Today, AISP produces and dispatches hundreds of credentials every month from its own premises, once the contractor approval processes on the digital document management platforms are complete.

From approval to dispatch within 24 hours

One of the key differentiators of this service is the short time between the end of the document process and the delivery of the credential.

Therefore, once the contractor has obtained approval and all conditions for issue are in place, AISP prints, prepares and dispatches the credential within 24 hours.

In fact, this capability comes from an integrated operation that brings together in a single process:

  • Digital document management
  • Approval of companies and workers
  • Preparation of identification data
  • In-house credential printing
  • Consumables management
  • Packaging
  • Daily dispatch

As a result, integrating these stages reduces the number of parties involved and the processing time between document validation and the delivery of physical identification.

More capacity for printing and producing identification credentials

The upgrade of the department included the purchase of equipment built for high print volumes and additional capacity to ensure service continuity.

The investment improves:

  • Daily printing capacity
  • Speed of credential preparation
  • Production continuity
  • Availability of consumables
  • Responsiveness during peak periods
  • Organisation of packaging and dispatch processes
  • Readiness for projects with larger numbers of contractors

Furthermore, in-house production lets AISP directly control each stage of the process and adapt its response to the operational needs of its clients.

Hundreds of credentials dispatched every month

Credential printing is now a regular operation within AISP’s activity.

For example, every month AISP prepares and dispatches hundreds of identification credentials for contractors that already hold approval through the digital document management platforms.

In addition, the process requires constant coordination between the document management, printing and logistics teams.

The credential is therefore the final stage of a broader process:

Registration → documentation → review → approval → printing → dispatch

In this way, physical identification is no longer an isolated activity; instead, it becomes part of an integrated compliance and control flow.

Document management linked to contractor identification

In projects where documentation determines whether contractors can enter or remain on site, the credential can act as a direct result of document approval.

However, before AISP issues it, a control process checks that the contractor meets all the defined requirements.

Thus, this link turns document management into an effective part of operations, connecting digital compliance with the physical identification of workers.

For clients, this means greater traceability and a more direct link between the contractor’s document status and the next steps in the process.

Identification credential printing: A differentiated service

This investment allows AISP to strengthen a differentiated service in the Portuguese market, combining digital document management, approval, in-house credential production, consumables management, packaging and dispatch in a single operational structure.

Consequently, this integration makes it possible to follow the process from document submission to the delivery of the credential to the contractor.

In other words, fewer intermediate steps.

Greater control.

Greater responsiveness.

Finally, printing and dispatch within 24 hours of approval.

From document management to the identification credential, AISP ensures an integrated process that connects digital compliance, production and dispatch.
